At Least Office for Mac Has *Four* People Who Love It…

http://cache.gawkerassets.com/assets/images/4/2010/02/500x_office-mac.jpg

So the preceding tweet from Office for Mac’s official Twitter account asked for Macworld attendees to swing by the Microsoft booth and say “I love Office for Mac,” but to an uninformed reader, that reads like something else entirely. [ChrisPhin]

HyperMac Micro, Mini, and Nano hands-on

http://www.blogcdn.com/www.engadget.com/media/2010/02/hypermachands-macworld-rmeng1.jpg

They’re light, they’re colorful, and with the exception of the Mini, HyperMac’s new kandy-kolored iPhone / iPod batteries are easily pocketable. It’s a shame the new style hasn’t found its way to the MacBook-charging lineup — let’s hope that’s in the cards — but on the plus side, given it charges any USB-powered device, we can see this coming in pretty handy on an universal level. Like gazing upon rainbow-colored batteries? We’ve got you covered in the gallery below.

Epic’s Mark Rein Sets Record Straight on Natal Comments

n an interview with UK’s Official Xbox Magazine, Epic Games Vice President Mark Rein may have led some readers to believe that all future Epic games will feature some form of Natal controls. In the interview, Rein was boasting that the Unreal Engine 3 will be the “economic engine of Natal,” adding that the new Microsoft studio that’s heading up Natal game development is using Unreal Engine 3. But where Rein threw some off-track was with his hypothetical comment that, “I think any future Xbox games we make will have some Natal support.”

G4’s Patrick Klepek managed to reach Rein by email, who clarified his statement: “At this point I’m only speaking for the engine, I was speculating on the kind of things I, as a gamer, could see implemented in Natal for shooter-style games. Sorry if there was any confusion there.”

Another possible misleading comment from the article comes in regards to Microsoft’s Natal launch plans. Rein seems to have insider knowledge of the Natal launch as he states, “I think they said they were going to ship Natal with every Xbox when they actually launch the thing, so everybody will have one.” The statement jibes with Microsoft’s at this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo, when the company compared the debut of Natal to the launch of a new console.
